Portable Sanitation Driver

Full Time Position

The Portable Sanitation Driver position involves safely operating a service vehicle to maintain and service portable restrooms and related equipment. This role requires adherence to safety regulations, effective communication, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

– Safely operate a truck in compliance with regulations

– Service portable restrooms and hand wash stations

– Complete assigned service routes

– Conduct vehicle inspections pre- and post-trip

– Maintain professional customer interactions

– Track inventory and perform basic vehicle maintenance

– Use tablets and smartphones for communication and routing

– Identify and address safety and maintenance issues

– Assist with weekend events as scheduled

Qualifications:

– At least 23 years of age

– Valid driver’s license; willingness to obtain a CDL if necessary

– No felony convictions that affect access to client facilities

– Pass drug and background screenings

– Ability to communicate effectively in English (other languages are a plus)

– Physical capability to handle loads of 45 to 350 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Physical Demands:

– Frequent entry and exit from a commercial vehicle

– Ability to lift and maneuver portable sanitation units

– Flexibility to adjust to seasonal shift changes

Operations Manager

Full Time Position

Job Summary: The Operations Manager will manage and coordinate operational activities, train employees, monitor vehicle maintenance, and enhance service and route efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee all operational activities and employee training

– Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route management

– Supervise drivers and yard personnel

– Manage service levels, routing efficiency, labor costs, and fuel usage

– Conduct site checks and ensure timely customer service responses

– Act as a liaison between customers and office staff to resolve issues

– Implement best practices for operational efficiency

– Approve employee time-off requests and create work schedules.

– Conduct safety training and maintain a positive work environment

– Report safety and operational issues immediately

– Be willing to perform route duties, including cleaning portable toilets and handling dumpsters when needed

– Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

– Experience in driver/route management

– Knowledge of the waste or portable sanitation industry preferred

– Familiarity with fleet trucks and operational best practices.

– Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Minimum Job Requirements:

– At least 21 years old with a satisfactory driving record.

– Class C CDL

– One year of experience driving heavy trucks

– Pass a DOT drug screening and background check

– No DUI/OVI in the last 5 years or two in the last 10 years

– No license suspensions in the last 2 years

– No more than 3 moving violations in the last 2 years
